He fought for many causes and despite being seen as an annoyance to his 'no more' birthplace he was always ready to put his neck on the line to save it no matter what. The doctor was always special before adding more ingredients in his past. I don't have any grudge against a female Doctor as I stated before, but when something is made forcibly to drive a provocative narrative, it burns like pointing the eyes straight in the sunlight. What an absolute mess! All the effort from the Doctor to finally save Gallifrey in the previous seasons went to waste completely, wiping out a moving point for the main character in favor of a new "brave" identity with a shining past with a capital F. Season 2 at the beginning was meh but Jodie was doing a good job despite all, so I kept going on until the big reveal of the Master and the overcomplicated plot holes of the Doctor's past. Jodie Whittaker is a phenomenal actress and I was eager to see her portraying this character, and despite a soft start with a bit of a dull script, I stood confident that she was going to be a nice fit in this narrative. Still, despite adding some fun and intriguing characters, like the Liverpool guy or the dog fellow, it kept adding more mess in this new "lore" that it seems that is trying so hard to want the old fans and new younger public to just go away from the show in exchange for a more adult and presumably woke public that might have pretended changes and in return won't even bother watching the show. One of the clues was spotted in a curious painting, La Boîte Bleue (The Blue Box), at the Walker Art Gallery and Museum of Liverpool.I had some hope that this 3rd season was going to somehow fix the previous 12th season's terrible script decisions.
